  • Great small towns and an exciting city

Education in conventional public school settings can be particularly difficult for families with children with autism. Ignite Achievement Academy in Charlotte is designed to help children with autism thrive.

How Ignite Achievement Academy Helps Children with Autism

Our mission at Ignite Achievement Academy is to provide educators with the means to significantly improve the skill achievement of students with academic barriers through the use of a variety of educational materials and curriculums.

We work with students in kindergarten through grade twelve at Ignite Achievement Academy. Academic obstacles that most of our students face impede them from succeeding in a standard school program.

Everything about us has been formed by achieving our mission, including our small student body, physical setting, low teacher-to-student ratio, individualized instruction, and lines of communication with parents and staff.

Autism School in Charlotte, NC

Parents of students with autism may at times feel like they are isolated and struggle to find resources and support. Our school helps parents have support and community. At IAA, every child receives an individualized academic plan that outlines the curriculum that will be used throughout the year for the individual child.

This helps teachers deliver the right instruction to every student using the right environment and the correct intensity.

Only about sixty children attend our school, and there are usually six students in each classroom. Our educators can devote their full attention to each individual student because each classroom has a teacher and access to a teacher's aide. This allows teachers to provide individual and focused attention to each child.

As you know, there is no one solution for children with autism, so it is imperative to our mission to make sure each child has exactly what they need for success.
